Dr.Bipin.Patel passed his M.S.(Ophthalmology) in 1976 and has an immence experience spaning for 42 yrs in the field of Eye Care.
He worked with Dr. Ramesh Desai initially for one year after passing his M.S from 1976-77.
He started his own private practice in Cambay ( Khambhat ) in 1977 and Nishant Eye Hospital came into existence. He served the population of Cambay for six years during which he emerged as one of the leading Ophthalmic Surgeon.
He then shifted his working destination to Anand for good. He started his hospital with the same name ,Nishant Eye Hospital in an ownership building in Shubhlaxmi Shopping Center, Anand. He practiced in the place for 10 years . Ever increasing patients and need for technological upgradation resulted in shifting of the hospital to a new place. The foundation of a dream was layed in 1992 and Nishant Eye Hospital was shifted to the present building where it is going strong and progressing everyday. He is presently one of the senior most eye surgeon and is still going strong with yrs of experience behind him and many yrs still to go.All his life he has worked with one motto of serving his patients with nothing but the best latest in the world.

In the face of increasing patients visiting the hospital for eye care , Dr.Purvi Soni an eye specialist joined the hospital in 1995 and has been an active member of our hospital since then. She has a special interest in Contact lens care.

Fellowship in Retina & Viterous. Trained By Dr. S.Natarajan Mumbai. He consider himjself as god’s chosen for being brought to this world in a family where Ophthalmology is not a profession but a religion and also because he got the oppurtunity to learn two living legends , Dr. Amar Agarwal and Dr. S. Natarajan. He learnt to perform Phacoemulsification & LASIK surgery during his D.N.B.training under the guidance of Dr. Amar Agarwal where he was also trained in advance surgical procedures like Phakonit , No Anaesthsia Cataract Surgery & Wave Front guided LASIK.

He did his fellowship in Retina & Vitreous , during which he was trained not only in basic vitreretinal surgery but also in newer innovations like bimanual surgery, 25g vitrectomy , endoscopic vitreoretinal surgery , etc under the guidance of Dr. S. Natarajan. He acquired knowledge and skill in advanced diagnostic and treatment modalities like Optical Coherence Tomography , Photodynamic therapy, Transpupilllary thermotherapy , Anti VEGF therapy , etc .

He has also written few articles in natinoal and international Journal like Journal of Cataract & Refractive Surgery and Ocular Surgery News. He has also penned few chapter in books like Phako, Phakonit and Laser Phako : A Quest for the Best ( 2002) from Highlights of Ophthalmology and Presbyopia : A Surgical Textbook ( 2002 ) from SLACK, to name a few. He has presented papers, video and poster in various national and international ophthalmic meets. He won the Ophthalmic quiz held in Gujarat Ophthalmic Society meet in 2004.He also won the All India Ophthalmic Quiz at the All India Ophthalmology Society Meet in 2007.He was one of the very few in the world to be selected by the American Academy of Ophthalmology as an invitee in the young ophthalmologist category for the Annual Meeting held in Nov 2006.

Sneha Patel, wife of Dr. Nishant Patel, has completed her post graduation in Hospital Management and Health Care for Symbiosis, Pune. She has keen observed and imbibed the professional approach in Eye Care at various hospitals during her stay in Chennai and Mumbai . Her expertise will add new dimension for efficient and smooth functioning of the hospital and result in better patient satisfaction and human resource management.

Dr. Sonam has passed M.B.B.S. from V.NS Government Medical College, Surat and M.S. Ophthalmology from M & J Institute of Ophthalmology, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad one of the best Western Regional Institute of India She has worked with Dr. Mehul Shah at Drashti Netralaya, Dahod and R.M. Eye Hospital, Chikhodra since 2016.
She has presented papers & poster in various Ophthalmic meet.
Dr. Sonam has joined the Hospital as an eye specialist for better patient care and services.
